Hello! My name is Erin Stricklin and I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. If you have a complicated relationship with food, you’re not alone and you are in the right place.
My food journey started years ago. I was a child of the 90s when people were starting to slowly emerge from the fat free diet and enter the low carb diet. When I was 15, I read an article in a magazine about what a celebrity ate during the week. This particular celebrity limited herself to having a latte only on the weekends. That became one of my first food rules without even realizing it. Diet culture is everywhere, and it doesn’t look like it’s going away anytime soon. I used to look at a plate of food and stress about the number of calories I was eating. I thought that I was one of those people that just didn’t have willpower. The list goes on, and if you’re here, I bet you have a list too.
My passion is to help people have a better relationship with food. I want to help you silence diet culture all around you so that you can focus on how your body feels. I am a firm believer that our health is a life-long journey, not a crash diet. And I would love to be a part of that journey for you if we are a good fit.
Go easy,
Erin
